Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals
Speaking the Same Language on Chemical Safety
As a global company, we are committed to speaking the same language, especially when it comes to chemicals. The United Nations introduced the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) to provide a standardized approach to chemical classification and labeling worldwide.
In the United States, OSHA revised its Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) to align with GHS. This increases the quality and consistency of chemical information through standardized classification, labels, and safety data sheets.
Enzo is now GHS compliant. Our Safety Data Sheets are standardized and chemical labeling has been updated to include signal words, pictograms, and hazard and precautionary statements.
