FLUOR DE LYS® HDAC Fluorometric Activity Assay Kit

The FLUOR DE LYS® HDAC Fluorometric Activity Assay Kit is the gold-standard assay for measuring histone deacetylase (HDAC) activity, cited in over 800 peer-reviewed publications. This kit provides a simple, two-step fluorometric method for detecting Class I and Class II HDAC activity. In the first step, the FLUOR DE LYS® Substrate, comprising an acetylated lysine side chain, is incubated with an HDAC-containing sample. Deacetylation of the substrate sensitizes it to the FLUOR DE LYS® Developer, which generates a fluorophore in the second step. The fluorophore is excited at 360 nm and detected at 460 nm, providing a quantitative readout of HDAC enzymatic activity. Ideal for HDAC inhibitor drug screening and epigenetics research.
